Overview

The Assistant Golf Professional responsibilities are the management of daily golf operations including hiring and supervising golf operations staff, member event coordination,  merchandising functions, and providing professional services. Providing exceptional service is essential to the golf operation at Green Tree. 

Experience Required

• PGA Member or Associate
• Experience in Golf 
• Customer Relation Skills
• Computer Skills
• Tournament Software Experience

Essential Responsibilities

• Involved in Merchandising / Retailing operations. 
• Assist in supervising and managing the total golf operation in a professional and efficient manner.
• Provide exceptional customer service, professional advice and assistance to all members with creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests to the facility.
• Play a key role in Leadership and Team Building.
• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise all outside service employees 
• Oversee the maintenance of the golf car rental fleet. 
• Assist in the management of the golfer handicapping system
• Manage tee sheet Operation.
• Professional tournaments operations including scorecards, cart signs, professional scoreboards with logos and artwork, stage carts, announcements and score using format as determined. 
• Involved in the Junior Golf Program including programs such as Operation 36 and PGA Junior League.
